Regal D. v. Lady Evaine on League of Angels

Well, I have been playing Lady Evaine for a week, so I figured it was a time for my update on a male character v. a female one on League of Angels by R2Games.

Regal's world is still very quiet.  Though his new guild has over 25 people, it looks like only 3 are active, including him.  He did get to chat with the one friend he has on there once this week.  He met a lady in chat who's character no longer had a husband, so he offered himself, but she already had a suitor. So he remains single.

Lady Evaine's life has been a little crazier.  She has many friends, including two who are men playing female characters. One of the members of her guild asked her to marry him. He hardly every spoke with her, so she was surprised by this.  Since she didn't want to end up like Regal she said okay. Then the next day the guild leader asked for hand. She told him she had already been asked, but if her first suitor fell through, he could marry her.

Then the first suitor came on the server. The guild leader told him he was going to steal Lady Evaine away. This did not go well. Hot words flashed all about the chat boxes. Lady Evaine hit the point she didn't know what to say tow home, so the first suitor told the second one he could have her, swore off women, told Evaine all women were monsters, and quit the guild.

Other drama involved Lady Evaine comforting a friend who's League of Angels wife had gone missing for more than a day.

As a result of all this, I awoke, and realized I could have resolved Evaine's problem of two suitors by creating another character on the server. I wish I had thought of this before the fight ensued.  Thus, I have now created a third character, Lady Leona, and we shall add her to our adventures.

Warning:  Do not get hooked on League of Angels unless you have at least 2 hours a night to play.

R2Game League of Angels Curiosity test

Just after the new year I took up playing my first on-line role playing game, League of Angels. I picked a server and created a male warrior, whom I named Regal D. after Regal of the House of Deoward from Revolt and Callings.

While playing there is a chat box. I noticed unless a visibly female character was on, nobody seemed to chat.

In addition characters are allowed to get married, and this increases ones Battle Rating. Anyway, my poor Regal has been in this world for two months now and has yet to find a spouse.  Oddly, enough I managed to gain a child in the homestead  So, now Regal is a single father.

I couldn't help to wonder if I would have been stuck with a single character and no one to chat with if I had created a female character.

Thus, two days ago I went on a new League of Angels server and created a female warrior. As soon as I had access to the chat box I had female and male characters chatting with me.  In addition, I have had three characters interested in pursuing Lady Evaine in matrimony.

Being a female characters is a completely a different experience. Of course, some of this could be due to who is and isn't on each server.  Since I can't have two characters on the same server, there is no ways to remove that variable.

I will keep you posted on what happens next for Regal and Lady Evaine.
